Happy Independence Day
We heard this often in the past days and it caused us to pause and consider the blessings of being free.
INDEPEND’ENCE has been defined:
1. A state of being not dependent; complete exemption from control, or the power of others; as the independence of the Supreme Being.
2. A state in which a person does not rely on others for subsistence; ability to support one’s self.
New Testament Church Planting is in the business of helping churches find independence concerning their facilities. They need freedom to meet any day and any time with enough floor space to allow for growth. They need stability in the community and the opportunity to build equity.
We have five families in Glenrock WY to do a complete building for Glenrock Baptist Church. This project has just begun and will take the rest of the summer. This will provide the facilities needed and will allow several of our team members to work together for an extend period of time. These times of fellowship allows our families to be an encouragement to each other as well as the church they are assisting.
We have the Bartels family as well as several people from Wilson Creek Baptist working on a remodel project to be used by Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, MO. The building was donated to NTCP and we have made it available to this brand new church. This church will have their first services in September and are very excited about the response from the city as they see their building coming together. The Bartels and Needham are also working in Central City, NE on small projects.
