Dear Family and Friends,

Dear Friends and Family of New Testament Church Planting, April 1, 2020
“April showers bring May flowers!” We have certainly had our share of the showers around this part of the country…and we already have so many Easter flowers. Everyone is mowing their lawns, because what else can you do? Spring is all around us with all of its beauty! Reminded that God is still on His throne and nothing surprises Him.

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

During this time of being confined to our homes and practicing distances for our heath because of this Coronaviurs, we can slow down.

Value this time that God has given you to reconnect with your husband (if you are married) and family. Help a mother out who did not plan on homeschooling her children this year. If school is not able to go back in session, it is going to be a loooong summer.

We all miss getting together to fellowship, but we can take the time to encourage each other with a text, phone call, or a post on facebook. And remember everyone does not have internet, so contact them also.

It is that time of the year to start turning the soil over and prepare it for a garden. I was raised on a farm in Arkansas and if we didn’t raise it, we didn’t eat it. Digging in the dirt used to be a fun time for me.

I read in a recent blog to “get out your own shovel”. Take time to dig into God’s word on your own. Don’t depend on others to tell you what it says but dig out the nuggets yourself. Since all the Pastors have become “TV evangelists” don’t get swept up into watching those that may not be preaching the truth or some that may be more glamorous and think…Why doesn’t our pastor do that?

Take time to allow the Lord to speak to you and not depend on someone else to study for you. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.Oh how much “profane and vain babblings” we have heard. Between the Coronavirus and 2020 being an election year, don’t look for that to cease anytime soon.

I guess I am saying “take time” slow down and see what God is teaching all of us during this time of being homebound. I want to take time to say “thank you” for your prayers and support of this ministry. We are grateful that God’s work will continue!

Until He Comes,
Mrs. Randall Moody
