Newsletter from Karl and Mary Badalian – July and August, 2018
Usually in the month of July, after helping with our two church camps in June, we are able to get on the road again. However this was not a usual year for us. On July second Mary required surgery on her neck due to the car accident we were involved in last December. At the recommendation of the surgeon and for follow up appointments we stayed close to home the month of July.
We were fortunate enough to spend a week in Rogers Arkansas, less than an hour from the house, and help pastor Esmerki De Los Santos at Iglesia Bautista Colonial. The church had recently acquired a building, formerly a doctor’s office. We were able to get some of the demo work accomplished while there.
After Mary’s follow-up appointment we got our trailer and headed East from Missouri, arriving in Concord New Hampshire on August 10th. The project at Granite State Baptist Church was already underway. We arrived in time to help install floor trusses, lay subflooring, frame the walls, install roof trusses, and deck the roof, all before the end of the month. It was good to meet up again with Dewain and Linda Crouch who are the newest members of the NTCP family. Tim and Barbara McHatton were also there working on the project. Thanks to Pastor Peter Chamberland and other folks in the church who have busied themselves with the construction work the building process here has run smoothly.
Because of your support of our work and the love you have for fellow churches, the people here in Concord have a building in which to worship and are now getting a much needed addition. The add on will include a nursery, restrooms, a fourier, and classroom space to further the ministry here. Souls are being saved, people are being baptized and added to the church. Praise God.
Our future plans . . . . the third Tuesday in October is always the start of our “Home Missions Conference” which we help with. We will then go to Montalba Texas to help Bible Baptist Church and Pastor Ronn Herod build their first church.
