At Heritage Baptist Church the excitement is building because ….”WE ARE!”
We are in our 3rd week of building with the New Testament Church Planters. What a wonderful blessing these men and women have been to our people and our check book. Without their professional expertise and perfection workmanship I really don’t know how we could have come as fast as what we have and in such a short amount of time. Not only are they good at what they do but they ALWAYS seem to have a great time with each other and our church people.
We have the exterior and interior walls up and 90% of the decking on the roof ready to start shingling next week. While waiting for the shingles there is always something to get done so everyone stays busy every day, even when we get 30 mile an hour winds. Not only do we listen for that TRUMPET to sound but we always a have an open ear for Jerry Stewart to announce, “BREAK TIME!”
I know that these men and women will have to leave soon to help other churches across the United States build their buildings but each one will be missed by everyone here at Heritage. Not only have they become a blessing to us but we have gained long lasting friends. They have truly touched our lives and hearts.
