Psalms 116:15  Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

God’s word always gives us the hope and peace to sustain us during times of loss and sorrow. One of our team members, Dave Flarity, went home to be with the Lord this past month and will be truly missed. Though he had battled cancer for years, he and his wife Judy have continued to assist on building projects. For those who have been blessed by their joyful spirit and hard work, please keep Mrs. Judy Flarity in your prayers.

Work continues on many fronts as we see churches moving forward and building needs being met. One such church is Solid Rock Baptist Church in Seymour, MO. A complete church building that has been vacant for several years has been purchased and we have teams on the ground managing the project as well as directing help from other churches within fifty miles who are sending out workers.

Flooring, which includes carpet as well as ceramic tile, seems to be a request we receive often. This is one of the last big costs in the finishing of a building and often money is running short. We have two men who do excellent work in this area but they are most often booked when these emergency requests come in. Drew Needham is finishing flooring work in California and then on to Oregon, while Karl Badalian is working hard to finish work in Missouri and then heading to New Hampshire, along with three other families to assist Pastor Chambers and the folks there with their building project.

Several projects keep getting delayed because of permits or financial reasons and, even though this is not something new for us, it is very difficult and sometimes discouraging for these churches who are in need of a good facility to meet in. Brother Ray and Susie McCullough spend many hours on the road and phone trying to give good counsel and encouragement to these pastors.

Last month Brother Bob Perryman underwent back surgery to attempt to relieve the pain he has suffered in his legs for years. He was having difficulty standing and his physical condition was deteriorating overall. After several very difficult days he has since made a good recovery. It is such a blessing to see him once again attend all services and to watch him as he ministers to many.

We invite you to our “Focus on America” church planting conference where you will have a great opportunity both to be blessed and to be a blessing to others. Dates are October 18-20, 2016.

Please pray with us for more workers and the means to keep them on the road.
