NTCP Fourth Quarter 2016

NTCP Fourth Quarter 2016

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

As we look back on the year 2016 we are certainly elated with what God has done through New Testament Church Planting. Some or all our crews have been on 26 building projects in 12 states from California to New Hampshire. Ray and Susie McCullough are still active full time in coordinating all our jobs as well as follow up with pastors on future jobs. They truly have been a blessing to so many churches for over 20 years now.

As of the writing of this letter we have crews in Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, and Missouri. The year 2017 seems to be filling up very quickly and for that we are also thankful.Because our ministry is directly connected to church planting and providing adequate facilities for these churches to meet in, we find ourselves on the frontlines observing both success and failures.

The battles are both exciting and invigorating as we see the Lord give great victories along the way. Then at times we see solid young couples who put their heart and soul into the work and see very few results for all their sacrifice.

You can read statistics from several different sources and come up with many suggestions as to what the answer to this dilemma is. I must openly confess that I don’t know what God is doing in all these situations or just how He will choose to get glory. But in all these victories and seemingly failures, one thing I do know is that the great commission has not changed.

Churches must still be active taking the gospel to a lost world and it must begin in our own city. As we then move forward through our states and then across America, we must assist other churches to build a program of world outreach also.

With your assistance NTCP will continue to assist churches in going through the planning stage of their building program. When possible we finance, or counsel on other means to finance their project. Last but certainly not least our work crews move on site and provide assistance to build the facility.
