Romans 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
Let me start this report by saying that we so appreciate you faithful support and prayers. It is evident that God has heard you and has brought health to workers as well as bringing new workers our way.
This not only encourages our teams but also adds to the work force and allows us to help more churches
The winter went well because we had plenty of opportunity to build in the warm areas of the country including Arizona, Florida, and Texas. This allows not only for good building conditions, but also keeps the water pipes from freezing.
God is never late, He is always on time. Mountain Vista Baptist Church in Sierra Vista, AZ has been paying $4000.00 monthly to rent a store front building in town. They terminated that lease the first of February so had to be out by the 28. The building passed the final inspection on the 21st, but there was a problem with inspectors not turning their reports for the parking lot and a retaining pond. All reports were in on the 27th, so the church could move into the building on the 28th. Praise the Lord they will meet in the new building on the first Sunday of March.
Those working in Sierra Vista have moved on to Oro Valley, AZ and Carlsbad, NM. We have also had a crew working in Sylva, NC. With Spring coming, we are looking forward to upcoming projects, possibly in CO, KS, MO, NE, NM, TX, and AR.
The cost of fuel as well as everything else has certainly had an impact on life in general but for the work crews on the road, these cost present some special problems. Since we help struggling churches with limited resources we must count on others to help us continue the work. God is certainly in control and has a very workable plan that he has allowed us to be a part of. By faith we look forward to an increase of workers this year as well as more churches being started since this is not only the need but is God’s plan.
We encourage all churches to consistently pray about being used to assist in planting churches right here in America as we take the gospel around the world.
