This winter has been a very busy one for us and we are about to finish our work here in Amarillo, TX. Our plans are to finish here by May 5. Again it has been a real blessing working with these dedicated people. Since we wrote last there have been several come to know the Lord as Saviour. Just the first two week of April there have been 8 saved, 7 baptized and one join by letter. The really exciting thing is that the majority of these were adults. They plan to move into the building by May 15 and then have their dedication service a few weeks later.

During March we attended the Dennis Brown Memorial Missions Conference in Englewood, which is always a time when we are refreshed in the Holy Spirit. We also spent a couple of days with Pastor Dale Fischer of Hope Baptist Church in Sutherland, NE. When we leave Amarillo, we will be going to Sutherland to help them with putting suspended ceiling in their new building. From Sutherland, we will make a short stop in Davenport IW where we have a crew working with Pastor Olan Adams. From there we will head to Heber Springs, AR to help Pastor Mark Bishop get their new building in the dry.

We are in need great need of help this summer. We have several projects in the works and more pastors wanting to start building. Our workers are spread so very thin and we need your help. Pastor, here is an opportunity to get your men involved in missions. Can you put together a crew that could come to a project for 1 week or maybe 2? These men do not necessarily be accomplished carpenters, just willing to work and learn. Maybe you can’t put together a crew, but just have one or two men who would be willing to come and help some this summer. Any help you could give would be much appreciated by us and the pastors that we will be able to help. Please pray and ask the Lord if He would want you to be of service to other churches this summer in this way. James 1:22 “But be ye doers or the word of the word, and not hearers only,…”

Other Prayer Request:

[bulleted_list style=”check”]

  • Wisdom and guidance in coordinating projects
  • Financial support for our newer members
  • Workers, workers and more workers

We want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and support and ask God’s blessings on you and your ministries.

Sincerely,

Ray & Susie McCullough
