MINISTRIES AT WCBC

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Sunday School services utilize the master teacher plan.
We have a desire to involve each person in the class but only to the point they are comfortable with.

We have Sunday School classes for all ages featuring qualified, experienced teachers. Classes for children include choruses, skits and attention-getting learning activities.

NURSERY

The primary Nursery is for Newborn babies up to 18 months old. They are gladly received at a check-in station by Ms. Betty Isaacs who has been a member of Wilson Creek Baptist Church for 20 years. The parent will complete registration information about your baby before leaving your child. This let’s us know what to expect and the needs of your baby during their stay. You will be assigned a pager with a number that coordinates with your baby’s registration information and be notified if your baby gets sick or distressed during their time in the Nursery. We have staffed our nursery with church members adequately for every service to accommodate the needs of the children. Children will be changed and given bottle or cup as appropriately needed. The nursery is furnished with washer, dryer, refrigerator, beds, swings, walkers and plenty of toys to entertain children while you are in class or worship services.

TURNING POINT PRISON MINISTRY

Prison Bars

This ministry is focused on those who have been incarcerated. We are presently preaching and teaching in five state prisons and one federal prison. Teams of men and women go into confinement facilities and preach the word of God to those who are behind bars. Our goal is to preach the gospel as it is found in the Holy Bible. It is through the preaching of the word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit that men and women are turned in repentance to receive the Lord Jesus Christ to be their Saviour. We also focus on teaching the word of God to those who are saved. We are confident that the word of God is powerful and the Holy Spirit will make personal application to help converts grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Absolutely nothing or no one counsels better or meets the needs of an individual more personally than the preaching of the Holy Bible. We are thankful to God who counted us faithful and put us into this ministry.

NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH PLANTING

NTCP was founded by Dr. Bob Perryman in 1990. As a veteran pastor and former Baptist Bible Fellowship President, Dr. Perryman recognized a great need among newly planted churches in the US. They were young and unable to establish credit and borrow to build and expand the church property. Often these young churches couldn’t afford to borrow money anyway. This inability to expand church facilities often hampered growth. When Dr. Perryman retired from pastoring, he started NTCP to meet that need.
